Building Bridges Seminar

Reverend Jacob Onyumbe is a Roman Catholic priest of the diocese of Tshumbe in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where he is academic dean and associate professor at the Notre Dame University of Tshumbe (Sankuru). He also teaches Hebrew and the Old Testament at the Jean-Paul II Interdiocesan Major Seminary. He is the author of Piles of Slain, Heaps of Corpses: Reading Prophetic Poetry and Violence in African Context (2021). He holds a Doctor of Theology degree from Duke University Divinity School.
