Building Bridges Seminar

Şaban Ali Düzgün is professor of Islamic theologyin the Department of Theology at Ankara University, where he received his undergraduate and graduate degrees. In his doctoral work, he compared Muslim theologians’ and philosophers’ approaches to the material world in relation to God. Dr. Düzgün held the chair of Ankara University English Theology Department from 2010 to 2012. He has also researched and lectured at various institutions including Georgetown University, Gregorian University in Rome, Birmingham Southern College, and Turkish-Kazakh University of Ahmad Yasawi in Kazakhstan. The author of many articles and books, mainly in Turkish, Dr. Düzgün currently serves as the editor of the Online Journal of Theological Studies.
